Standardized or special for you?

Our specialized tests go beyond the pure filtration issue and include, among other things, the consideration of material properties such as air permeability, burning behavior or microbiological tests, some of which are carried out in our partner laboratories. The services include: 
 

  • Climate change tests (e.g. automotive industry): 
    Conducting tests according to different specifications to test the resistance of filter elements and their performance values after changing climatic conditions.
     
  • Isopropanol (vapor) discharge in accordance with ISO 16890-4 and DIN 71460-4: Discharge tests using standard-compliant conditioning chambers.
     
  • Flame tests (evaluation of burning behavior) according to national and international standards such as DIN 75200 / FMVSS 302.
     
  • Odor tests in accordance with VDA 270 B2 and PV 3900, among others: performance of odor tests to evaluate the olfactory properties of filters and materials. 
     
  • Reflectometric and gravimetric fogging test: 
    Tests in accordance with SAE J 1756, PV 3920, DIN 75201 and other standards for testing the emission of volatile substances when exposed to heat. 
     
  • Antifungal performance according to DIN EN ISO 846 A and ASTM G 21: 
    Test to evaluate resistance to fungal attack.
     
  • Antibacterial effect according to JIS L 1902 or DIN EN ISO 846 C: 
    Test of antibacterial activity and effectiveness. 
     
  • Antiallergenic finish of filter elements: 
    Special tests to confirm the anti-allergenic properties of your products in accordance with OEM specifications.
     
  • Tensile and bursting strengths in accordance with DIN EN ISO 13934-1 and DIN EN ISO 13938-2: 
    Measurements of the tensile and burst strength of filter materials.
     
  • Water tests according to EN 20811: 
    Determination of resistance to water penetration.
     
  • Oil thread tests according to ISO 29463-4.
     
  • Leakage test on filter elements in the housing according to various specifications.
     
  • Shedding test and water loading:
    Performance of tests to determine particle release and water absorption.
